Well it's the new year and Ariana made the JV as the #1 setter. They are doing well and
are undefeated. They beat the 2 best teams in the district and still holding strong. I guess all the club volleyball,
PLU camp, and the UH camp finally paid off. Will keep updating as they get through their season.
Ariana had a great season. She started off by trying out for the 7th grade team
and ended up making the JV team. This season was tough for our family, but Ariana worked hard to concentrate on her
athletics and academics. The first stress had to do with her Grandmother being sick in the hospital for about 3 months
and passing away on the 28th of October. Two days before that happened an idiot did a drive by and shot her
in the head with a CO2 powered BB gun. She managed to overcome these obstacles and never missed a day of
school and practice. She finished off her JV career by being picked up by the Varsity Team for their last game, being
the only 7th grader to be picked up. Overall she made MVP for the JV team and lettered in the Varsity team.
